DED offer a range of services from basic telephone support, card printer repair to swap-out services. Something to suit every card printer requirement and budget:
Card Printer Technical Support
DED offer telephone technical support and advice on all card printers, software and accessories. DED's engineers are trained to the highest standards by leading suppliers, enabling any questions on any of products to be answered.
Card Software Support
The majority of software supplied by DED is covered by free telephone support with upgrades available free of charge from the DED website. DED can also offer an on-line support service called 'go to assist' which provides access to customers PC's (only with authorisation from the customer) via an internet connection. This service requires the customer to have access to the internet.
For servicing non-urgent card printer repairs or pre service contract inspections, DED offer are turn-to-base servicing facility. Simply return the card printer to DED's service department who will carry out an inspection before providing an estimate of costs for the necessary work. Once approved, the work is carried out together with a full clean and check/adjustment of all card printer settings.
Printer and Software Rental
For a very low cost DED will rent out any printer together with card software (if required) for any period from a single week upwards. Typical applications include University/College new year student registrations andexhibition/conference badging.
